David Leach
Chief Executive Officer

Mr.Leach joined eSecuritel in March 2006 after leaving his position as chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Datatrac, a supply chain and network services company in Atlanta.  Before Datatrac, he was Chief Operating Officer for Procuri Inc, an Atlanta-based leader in providing strategic sourcing software for enterprises.

Mr.Leach also co-founded Harbinger, Inc. in Atlanta in 1983, growing it to $155 million in revenue with $20 million in operating income, and eventually selling the company in June 2000 for $1.3 billion. Harbinger provided businesses of all sizes with software, value-added network services, business process outsourcing and consulting services to enable them to send and receive electronic documents and manage supply and demand chains. Over a 17-year career with the company he held positions as Vice President of Marketing and Sales, President of the Financial Services Division, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Executive Officer, Vice Chairman and Acting Chairman.

Mr.Leach has also served as a consultant with McKinsey Management Consultants as well as an Associate with Coopers and Lybrand.

Mr.Leach graduated with a B.A. from Sheffield University in England and received his MBA with honors from Harvard University. He is also a FCA,  Fellow Chartered Accountant from the United Kingdom, and is currently on several private and public boards.



James Simmons
Executive Vice President - Products and Technology

Mr.Simmons is a co-founder of eSecuritel and brings a wealth of experience to the company. He was responsible for the development of eSecuritel’s proprietary Handset Issue Tracking System (HITS™), the core technology for eSecuritel operations, and he set up key strategic relationships regarding call center and logistics for the company. He guided eSecuritel through its early stages, doubling its size each year through 2005 at which time it was acquired by the San Francisco-based equity group, Mainsail Partners.

Mr.Simmons has over 24 years of experience in commercial software development. In 1992 he co-founded Workgroup Technology Corp, a Lexington, Massachusetts-based company focused on electronic document management. He was responsible for the development of the company’s core technology and helped grow the company from five employees to more than 150 in five years. He served as Chief Technology Officer and was a key member of the executive staff through the company’s initial public offering in 1996.

At the start of his career in the 1980s, Mr.Simmons worked with Computervision and several start-up companies in the Boston area. He has also worked with Internet-based start-ups in the Southeast as Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Business Development.

Mr.Simmons has a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.



Jennifer Taylor
SVP Account Management, Marketing, and Customer Care

Ms. Taylor brings to the company over 25 years of marketing experience in customer relationship programs, lead/prospect cultivation, marketing strategy, and process management.

Prior to joining eSecuritel in 2006, Ms.Taylor served as EVP of Business and Account Development for Allconnect where she helped triple the revenue and client base, managing over 200 strategic relationships. She also served as a VP within AOL's Interactive Marketing division where her major achievements included development of the AOL Partner Help Desk, and supporting B2B websites. She led a major overhaul and increase in meaningful leads for AOL's advertising sales force.

Ms.Taylor was also the Senior Director of Loyalty Marketing and Alliances for Intercontinental Hotels Group (formerly Bass Hotels and Resorts), where she managed IHG's loyalty program for its numerous worldwide hotel brands, including Inter-Continental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Hotels and Resorts. She has also held positions with American Express and Xerox Corporation.

Ms.Taylor holds a B.A. in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an M.B.A. in Marketing from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.



Raymond (Ray) Jimison
SVP, Sales and Business Development

Mr. Jimison joined the eSecuritel senior management team in June of 2007 to head up both the Sales and Business Development groups. Most recently he was Senior Vice President and General Manager for Sage Software where he spent 8 years in various positions. In his role as SVP and GM for Sage, he was responsible for a $90m Business Unit with a portfolio of several leading products in the SMB market. Prior to Sage, Mr. Jimison was Vice President of Sales for Harbinger providing B2B eCommerce solutions for F1000 companies. While at Harbinger Mr. Jimison was instrumental in achieving significant market share in several industry segments including Petroleum, Utilities and Electronics. Mr. Jimison has over 25 years experience in software and hi-tech industry including 6 years with General Electric where he specialized in Electronic Payment Systems, EFT/ACH and eCommerce solutions.
 
Mr. Jimison is a graduate of California State University at Fullerton with a B.A. in Management and Finance. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Cal-Western ACH Association and been involved in various industry groups and initiatives promoting development of standards for the electronic exchange of vital business information and transactions.


Rich Gannon
Controller

Mr.Gannon joined the company in July 2005 with responsibility for financial accounting and forecasting, business planning and the establishment of the financial, administrative and human resource infrastructure. Mr. Gannon is a South Carolina-licensed CPA and has extensive experience in complex business transactions with an emphasis on young, growing companies.

Prior to eSecuritel, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Seacoast Synergy, Inc., a private equity firm in Hilton Head Island, SC, where he was involved in financial forecasting, business plan development and the establishment of the financial, administrative and human resource systems for seven subsidiary companies. Mr.Gannon also served as the Chief Financial Officer for CyberSight, LLC, an Internet advertising agency with a client base that included Visa, Quaker Oats, Dole Foods, Nissan and Molsen Breweries.

Mr.Gannon's other positions have included Senior Tax Manager with Price Waterhouse LLP from 1992 to1998, where he coordinated delivery of domestic tax and related advisory services to many small and large-scale businesses in the service, utility, industrial and high technology industries including Montana Power and Light, Nike, Northwest Natural Gas, Sequent Computer Systems, and RadiSys Corporation. He managed and supervised tax engagements includes advice on mergers, acquisitions, research and development tax credit studies, acquisition basis studies, corporate restructuring and tax provision preparation and review.

Mr.Gannon graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Colorado-Denver.



Tara Heusé Skinner
Vice President , Risk and Compliance

Ms. Skinner joined eSecuritel in June 2007 with over 22 years experience in the financial services industry. She designed and developed two enterprise risk management programs at two Top 50 U.S. Banks, one of which is a Fortune 1000 company. Prior to joining eSecuritel, she was the Chief Risk Officer and Executive Vice President of The South Financial Group.
 
She speaks in various conferences on the fundamentals of enterprise risk management and its implementation challenges. Recent presentations include “Getting Enough from your Risk Assessment Process” (The Conference Board’s Enterprise Risk Management Conference: Unleashing the Value of ERM, November 2006) and “Constructing and Applying a Successful ERM Strategy” (OpRisk USA 2007 Conference).
 
Ms. Skinner co-authored a book for the American Bankers Association, The Bank Executive’s Guide to Enterprise Risk Management (2006) and penned the opinion piece, “In Defense of AMA Methodology,” for Oprisk and Compliance (February 2006). She has also been featured on several ERM webcasts for the American Bankers Association and for the Conference Board. Ms. Skinner is the Executive Committee Chairperson of the Conference Board’s Strategic Risk Management Council. She is also a licensed property and casualty insurance agent.
 
Ms. Skinner holds a BA from Nicholls State University and an MBA from Louisiana State University. She is also a Ph.D. candidate at the International School of Management in Paris, her graduate thesis exploring the risks and uncertainties inherent in business and the development of corporate metrics for risk-adjusted decision-making.
 


Julio Palacio
SVP, R & D and Operations

Mr. Palacio joined eSecuritel in August 2007 with over 23 years of technical and management experience in information technology and telecommunications. 
Most recently he was General Manager Strategic Planning for SouthernLINC Wireless, a wholly owned subsidiary of Southern Company.  There he was responsible for spearheading all company-wide strategic planning and implementation efforts and overseeing the company's internal organizational structure and processes. He also served as General Manager Emerging Technologies for Sprint Nextel, where he was responsible for managing the development and deployment of business-targeted applications, solutions and service offerings with key industry partners and major systems integrators.
Prior to Sprint Nextel, Mr. Palacio was co-founder and CEO for Veriprise Wireless Corporation, a wireless software development and solutions company that developed a wireless enablement and communications platform for the Enterprise Market. 
He was also Director of Enterprise Mobility and Operations for Motorola, where he was responsible for the development, marketing and deployment of a communications platform to accelerate Motorola’s entry into the enterprise mobility marketplace.
Mr. Palacio has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Florida International University and has four patent filings in wireless communications with Sprint Nextel.
