ESECURITEL EXTENDS HANDSET PROTECTION AGREEMENT WITH LEADING REGIONAL WIRELESS CARRIER CELLULAR SOUTH

January 15, 2009

ATLANTA (Jan., 2009) – Mississippi-based regional wireless carrier Cellular South (www.cellularsouth.com) has extended its handset protection agreement with eSecuritel (www.esecuritel.com) for the next three years. Cellular South, headquartered in Ridgeland, Mississippi, is one of the country’s largest privately held wireless providers. The regional carrier’s reach has grown beyond its home state in recent years to include Alabama, the Florida Panhandle, and Southwest Tennessee, including Memphis.

The announcement rounds out a year of impressive growth for eSecuritel. “We’re growing at a sustainable pace that allows us to be an exceptional service partner to regional and national carriers,” said eSecuritel CEO David Leach. “We are constantly refining our technology so our customers can be competitive in a rapidly changing wireless industry.” eSecuritel’s proprietary Handset Issue Tracking System (HITS™) provides carriers and their subscribers a complete handset lifecycle management platform, from handset tracking to refurbishment and fulfillment. eSecuritel offers consumer handset protection for both pre-paid and post-pay programs.

In 2008, eSecuritel also announced handset protection agreements with Alltel Wireless, Pocket Communications, n Telos, and iWireless. In March 2008, the company announced partnerships with The United States Auto Club and FusionOne to offer roadside assistance and backup and restore programs. Since its founding in 2001, eSecuritel has emerged in the highly competitive wireless industry as a technologically nimble company with a customer service ethic that supports a growing and comprehensive roster of carrier services.
